what cams would you use
Im planning on upgrading my stock cams, I have a B16a and was wondering which cams were best. Im looking for a stage 2 street/race cam. I was thinking skunk 2, but then I was told to go with Crane or Crower. Im not to sure what to go with. If any of you guys have tried after market cams, please feel free to give your opinion.

Why are you shooting for "stage 2" cams. Keep in mind that stage 2 can vary greatly between different cam manufacturers.

With those mods, on a reliable daily driver, I personally wouldn't choose to go with a Skunk stage 2 or Crower 402, as your compression isn't high enough to back them up. A stage 1 skunk, Toda A, or Jun II's might be a better idea, as they perform to full potential at lower comp rates.

Their has been some complaints about the crower cams breaking. They were only used for a couple of months also. So just keep an eye out and research is key for what parts you install on your car.

Now you're talkin. Jun III's, Toda B's (for big midrange), or Skunk stage 2's.

True, but Toda, Jun, and Skunk have breakage complaints as well.
