A/C issue

A/C issue
99 ex. the a/c just stopped working. i am assuming it could be the relay under the hood? i dont want to assume jsut yet the compressor is shot. could it be the fuse or relay for the ac clutch as well? ideas or troubleshooting for the ones that have been through this. TIA
