Clutch Pedal Squeak When Engaging ...Help!
So this happens when pushing down on the clutch pedeal feels sloopy....Car has 60k miles.
Is it time to replace the clutch?
What items need to be replaced? Would like to stay stock....
What kind of prices are we talking to replace the clutch parts and labor?
Current Mods I/H/E...No future mods planned.
Thanks.

I'm a big fan of the stock ITR clutch on near stock cars. I'd say go for it!
I made the mistake of running a CM stage IV on a near stock R once

You will find that the clutch squeak is a common happening with ITR's. Mine did it with the stock clutch, and continues to with my Exedy 3-puck. I've replaced the clutch line, clutch master, clutch slave, and all the clutch components. I've given up.
mine was doing that and it felt sloppy also. very sloppy and rough. i forgot what it was, but i took it to acura and the replaced something. cant remember but its all gone now. hasnt happened since, about 5 months

You should contact Len for prices. You'll need clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing, and, some new Honda MTF won't hurt while you're at it. Oh, and don't forget to cut the flywheel.

Mine is stock and squeaks. It started around 12,000 miles but the clutch itself is fine. I just ignore it since I can't hear it unless the car is sitting still at idle.

Yeah mine started around 25-30k.
When I replaced the clutch I just made sure to cover the TOB and input shaft with lots of urea grease.
It's been about 10-12k and it hasn't been back yet.. I'm sure it will with 15k more though.

dont know if this helps, but I had the squeak from the clutch pedal; and when looking for the source I found a small leak from the master cylinder inside the car where it connects to the pedal.
Replaced the master cylinder and no more squeaking. Its been more than 25k miles since I changed it.
