Default rear brake line

okay im frustrated as expletive with this, the rear right brake line that runs from the drum cylinder to the rubber line section was completely rusted out and i accidentally hit it while taking out strut so i got a section of 3/16" line foot long and i spent like an hour and a half trying to get it in that point where it connects with the rubber section in the rear wheel well it wont go in at all it starts up then just pops out over and over, does anyone know if thats a special line or something?? im pretty pissed i looked at the old connector next to the new they look identical size wise. its pretty frustrating

you probably got 3/16 line but with american threads, i got a longer piece cut off one end removed the american fittings reused my old fittings and re-flared the ends.

I think I would have just grabbed an OEM line of another EF so no problems at all, you probably got wrong thread pitch with your 3/16 line.
