How to bend this...?
It's a bumper support. I know reusing this isn't the safest idea in the world but we need to get it clear of the radiator so we can get the car moving.
Chaining it to another car and pulling failed to work. All of the junk around it in the picture is removed, but there isn't a whole lot of room to swing a hammer. Any ideas?

Unbolting it is sadly not an option and while I agree with replacing, right now we're just trying to get it rolling.
We don't have an oxy torch, but we do have a MAPP torch. Would heating the hell out of it with MAPP and trying the chain pulling method again be worth a shot?

I don't think you have an option of just bending it back. Your alingment will be way off.Isn't atleast the driver's side front wheel turned as if it would make a right turn? Correct me if I'm wrong.

It's gonna be damn near impossible to bend it out like that. The only I would think would be to remove the bumper and support. It can be done in a 15 minutes.

The best thing to do is to just unbolt it and go to a wrecking yard and get another one if you want one why waste time on something thats not going to be able to be bent back in a reasonable time frame

The car still drives fairly well. The problem with taking it off and bending it is that it wouldent bolt back on when finished, the mount points are probably out of place. The other problem is that it's bolted and welded on...
your not going to be able to straighten that, chances are that its spring steel which does bend easily if you know anything about metal, and being out bent it is trying to pull it on the car is going to be a very bad idea, most likely your rip it off the car and expletive up your re-bar stantions and ends of the frame rails, its only held on by 4 measly bolts, unbolt it and drive without it if you must drive the car, no worse than driving with that wasted peace
Yeah you don't actually need the thing to drive, so as long as you don't get into any accidents your fine. Its a heavy POS anyways. I don't think id go perminantly without out on a daily driver but it shouldnt be a problem while looking for or making a replacement.
People cut them off for eg rad clearance all the time, i cut mine and added a brace, but its just some flimsy boxed metal, should pull out easy
Hook it to a tree and hit reverse. Make sure the tree and the chain are big enough, otherwise, you might have a tree on your hood or chain links flying everywhere. This is only the case you can't unbolt the darn thing.
Unbolt it, send the car to get the frame rebuilt. You definitly fucked up the front frame. No body panels will fit on anymore. TRUST ME CAUSE THIS HAPPENED TO ME!!!
Unbolt everything and send the car to a collision repair shop and ask to get the frame realligned. Cost me 400$ Canadian, took 4 days. I got it back with nothing bolted on, and guess what, all the replacement parts bolted on like the car had never been touched. Saves me so much hassle, because I tried bending it back myself and 2 bolts for the headlight didn't go in, my filler panel only 3 bolts was holding it in place and the bumper sagged like crazy. I almost trashed the car when I learned that frames could be realligned.

he's damn right about the frame damage, there is no way that thing could've bent in as far as to push your radiator back and not pull the rails in with it, that car probrably is in need or a decent amount of repair, and absolutely do not tie it to a tree and put it in reverse unless your want it to get ripped off your car, break an axles or your tranny or something else on your car, do that you can't control the angle of pull which needs to be very exact or else your gonna screw it up worse.
