ecu stolen
my 98 GSR, was broken into a couple night ago and all the bastards took was the ecu. i called the dealership and they told me that i need this brainbox:
37820-p72-a04
now, i see a bunch of ecu's for sale, but do they have to be an exact match? or do all the numbers have to be the same?

i'm sure i could have gotten one for $100 or less, but i needed my car working. some fellow took the time to bring the part to my place and test it. for that reason i paid more than what i should have.

Agreed. This happened to me, exactly a week later they came back for the whole car. Yelled at them and watched the little ***** run off with an ecu in their hands. Looked 15 or 16 too. Little bastard thieves.
