i am using my car as a daily driver is this battery going to be REAIBLE for starting and a radio ????? I just want a normal battery but small but still has the same power as a daily driver or a normal battery would last.
Well Ive got that 2nd one I posted from NRG and it cranks everytime..Had it for about 5 months now its done good even in this horrible freezing cold NJ winter..
I dont know what the lifetime is though,,Im sure you can email NRG or odyssey and they'll let you know..

yea i might get the odyssey PC680 but i was wondering can i still put the small battery back into the stock location so i get more room or do i have to get the backet like the others ??? cause i dont like doing all the backets stuff. thanks man
My car never came with the stock battery hold downs when I got it..And Ive been using bungee cords for ever,,still use them now,,its tacky but it works..Sooner or later I'll get some metal pieces and make brackets..
I use the PC680
My last CRX I relocated it to the rear. This one I'm just laing it down on its side. You can't stand it up using the stock hold down, the stock hold down is just too big. I also splurged and got the Odyssey battery hold down (that as I found wasn't a perfect fit)

Well, mounted mine today and the whole tray/adyssey bracket deal didn't work out too well, so I moved it down to the frame...glad I did too. Heres another one of my crappy pics

What intake? Cold air intake or short ram? If you want to use the cold air intake you would need to do the fallowing
A) relocate you battery to the back
B) get an Oddesy or NRG battery
I would go with option B, I need to do the same thing as well. Now that I have a better option ther then relocating it whole battery buying a box for the battery Iam going to but the NRG or oddesy battery.

You can angle the battery a little, but it will then be resting against the intake. I've seen it done too and don't really care for it.
Stinger also makes a battery, not as small as the Odyssey/NRG but its not as huge as the Optima. It should sit in the tray fine, but for the price the Odyssey is the winner. It will lay in the tray if you don't use the Odyssey hold down I have. The problem was that the hold down and the tray were the same size, which was great in theory. But when I went to put it all in, the side of the tray closest to the firewall bolts down to the motormount and there was no way to get bolts through to hold the battery down without drilling for days.
If you decide to use the Odyssey bracket and mount it to the frame I'll fill you in. If you remove your fan and the battery ground next to the fan then you'll see that that old battery ground hole lines up perfectly with the odyssy bracket hole, you just have to drill the hole for the other side. It's a tight fit but a great one. There is probably 1/4" between the battery and tranny
