Well, sometimes when I'm driving, and I'm pushing on the gas in like say..2nd gear up to 3000 RPM, then BAM...feels like I hit a brick wall! and I see the Check engine light up for like 1 second. Then the car drives normal again...

It RANDOMLY does this. Has anyone ever had this problem?

 

Is it throwing a code? It happens every now and then to me and throws the code for fuel supply system. I have yet to find out the cause of this.

 

I had similar symptoms, and I believe my 02 wires were loose.

 

Yeah it happens radomly. Hm, do u think maybe some water in the fuel system cuases this. Or maybe a bad fuel pump? I'm gonna take a look at my O2 sensor wires tommorow and see if they are maybe loose.

 

Or a bad fuel filter?

 

Does anyone know why this is? My car seems to stutter sometimes after shifting into second, it will shut off my cd player and stuff, its almost like it loses power for a split second.

 

hey i had that problem with my 00 civic si it turns out the fuse for my alternater was out and my battery was slowly going dead i would be driving and then a big studder lights come on then everything was ok again try checking if it holds a good charge

 

Is the alt fuse located under the dash in a 89 crx? Also, could it possibly be bad grounds? Seems like i have trouble starting up my car too, it always just trys to turn on the first key turn, then on the second it starts up. Thanks

is it a real recent problem? - yesterday someone mentioned in a thread about how they where changing gas from the winter mix to the summer mix - you should be getting a code if your mil comes on
