This might sound weird, but is there such a thing as wheel spacer "adapters" that can fix one bolt pattern wheel onto a vehicle with another bolt pattern?
I have a 97 Accord and of course the bolt pattern is 4x100/4.50. Thing is, I have a set of 17" ICW 502's of which the bolt pattern is 4x100/4.25 and I don't want to sell them unless I have to.
Do such wheel spacers with adaptable functions exist? One of my friends told me about them, but I haven't had luck finding any.

Yes, they exist, although I have never heard of a 4x100/4.50 bolt pattern. However, many of the wheel and tire gurus on here will caution you against using these because it adds extra stress onto the lugs, axle, etc etc. Some people use lug spacers so that they can fit a certain wheel with the certain offset onto their car. Nsxstasy and George Knighton are the resident gurus on that kind of stuff.

Correction: It should be 4x114.3 for 90-97 Accords, I think.
Do you know where I can find these spacers?
I would rather NOT use spacers, but to make a looong story short, it's best for me to keep the 4x100/4.25 wheels, so I have to find a way to mount them on my car. Anyway, thanks for the quick reply!

again, you can do more bad then good by putting those spacers on. Be patient, spend the extra buck and get something that fits, when your entire axle assembly doesn't break, you'll thank me. Again, I suggest you talk to Nsxstasy or George Knighton, they know more than me in regards to this.
You might save more money buying the correct wheels than finding these adapters you're seeking and the possible damage to your drivetrain. But ultimately it's your car and money....
Why don't you post your wheels in the forsale forum and say trades welcome you may find someone willing to trade you for rims that fit.Who knows you could come out ahead.
unless you have some rwd wheel that have a very low e.t./offset, or it will stick out like some mexican lowrider.
think this the adapter will at please all a inch or two just to top off your stock stud
