integra won't start
I am feeling like an idiot my 1992 acura integra will not start. It turns over and does have compression but won't start. I checked the fuses under the dash and also under the hood but didn't see anything blown. I don't know how to check the fuel pressure because the is no shrader valve. also not quite sure how check for spark my friend told me to pull the plug and hold it to grounded metal and crank it(that makes me a little nervous. any help would be appreciated.
yes, check for spark... don't be nervous it's totally safe.
pull your plugs 1 at a time to check them. take them out... put them into the wire and hold the tip of it against your valve cover... crank it a couple times, usually it will start, just shut it off.... usually the spark is VERY prominent and you'll know for sure if it's sparking. when was ur last maitenance? mileage on your car?

I just bought the car but it has 158k and the plugs don't look too well I am going to replace them but I have to wait to test the spark plug when someone else can crank it for me probably tonight. I am thinking its the distributor. I tried to set the plug on the valve cover but I didn't see anything I will do another test to confirm there is no spark. Also my fuel pump is good I could massively smell fuel after I pulled the plug.
