Default Toda Header

Hey guys I just smashed up my jdm 4-1 header , and am now considering getting a new and better header. I am leaning toward the Toda header becuase of the gains I have seen it give people. I have a few questions tho. Where can I get the Toda header for a good price and what do they usually go for? Will I be able to use my testpipe from my jdm 4-1, will it fit? I am also rebuilding my motor with jun3's and 12.5 comprssion. Will The Toda header be good, or should I consider the Jun header becuase i am goin with Jun cams. Thanks guys, you help is always apreciated.

Toda headers are $980 wherever you go. The test pipe will fit fine. As for Jun fv. Toda headers, that is open to debate.

If I were you, I would go with an SMSP Header, they are roughly the same price range as the Toda header.. or you could even go with a Hytech Header - $1300.

What is the price of the new SMSP stainless steel header? I heard they are around $1000, but I don't know if they are stainless steel or not!!

how badly is your jdm smashed?
smsp has been looking for a collector from a jdm header for some time.

smsp has not yet released the stainless version.
it is mild steel coated inside/out.
i think the coating has a lifetime warranty by the coaters.

I hit a curb goin about 25mph . I was lucky i didnt **** up alot more on my car (only cracked lip, header, busted tire, and pushed the bottom of the rad support in 1 inch). It was a belguim(spelling) block style curb, thats what did the header in. I will have some pics later when my bro saves them for me.

I think i am gonna get the toda header. No one still answered if it works well with jun 3's. Anyone have the header with them?

Toda products are the best on the market. If ur going w/ Jun Type 3's, why not go with a Jun header. If ur going all out on the motor, why short change ur self. When companies make pistons, cams, headers, etc they test all of them together to aquire the most HP possible. So if ur goin to get he Jun 3 cams, get Jun Header, or if ur getting the toda header get some toda cams. Both headers are 4-2-1 design and tuck better unber the motor than the Jdm 4-1 design. And both headers are around the same price range if not the same.

What's the problem, Mike?

I have a Fluidyne and both OEM fans installed and I have about 1/2" maybe 3/4" of clearance. But then again it's a DC JDM. I forget how the Toda sits.

The 11" Slimlines aren't so Slim (A/C Side) Going to see if I can find thinner or maybe fit the 9" in there.
