i am thinking about building a b18c5 and was wondering how can i make it faster than the k20a or what other setup should i do to be as fast or faster than the k20a.

 

dude there are so many ways to be faster then a k20...but since you said b18 in your title you should do a turbo ls on 10 pounds and destoy k20's.

 

Just one little piece of advice. Someone will always be faster and have more power than you with either motor. Just build what you want and be done with it. I am building and LS/VTEC it won't be the fastest or most powerful but it will be enough...the only reason I am doing LS/VTEC is because I found a good deal on B16 head otherwise I was just going LS. And I was perfectly happy going LS. So just know you can make a B18** faster/ more power than a K20** but anyone can throw more money at the motor and make more power.

Also being fast has nothing to do with HP/FT LBS. Fast has to do with the driver. I think you are using "faster" as more power, yes?

Look at the D15 car they took to the salt flats it was FAST!

 

My stock SRV can destroy stock K20 SiR and RSX Type S.

K20 isn't all that great, but in a light *** CRX then ya, it's great.
