need to raise my needle one to help get rid of the bike being slightly lean... I have a jet kit and well i have no clue how to get the needle out to shim it in the first place... I know it's a snap ring but how the hell do I get it out... lol

you can use a flat head screwdriver to back the snap ring of the needle

 

I'm not sure on your particular application but usually you remove the top of the carb. with the spring, slide, and needle intact while still attached to the throttle cable. Then you remove the cable by bunching up the spring to get some slack in the cable. After that you remove whatever holds the needle in the slide, change clip position and reinstall.

this is what I'm looking for. if I have the time I'll take a pic of what I'm looking at. this should prob work though. it's running alright for now. slight stumbling at real low rpms. maybe this weekend I can get in the garage space my friend has and get to it
