does any company sell a 3" exhaust for a 97 ex civic.... ive been lookin around and havent found a company yet... any suggestions?

is your car stock?.....any upgrades been made to it....i wouldnt go with 3"....if its an all motor car 2.25" or 2.5" is fine..........3" for higher horsepower car.

 

its definitely boosted with internals

Yes, yes they do. 3" is usually reserved for boosted cars.

whats the point of going 2.25 or 2.5 for all motor?? when your going wide open throttle all the exahust needs to come out...my theory is....it doesnt matter after the colleter on the header.....why do you want back pressure for?

Ash81 did not mention anthing about backpressure. But I do concur with 2.25" or 2.5". Although backpressure is certainly something you do not want, when you go <u>too big</u> on an N/A, you lose exhaust <u>velocity</u>. An optimal exhaust for a street N/A will, have minimal backpresure and maintain exhaust stream velocity (helping scavenging), while providing adaqute sound suppression.
