stock good? or will i gain power with a civic Si tranny? is it a bolt on "mod"???
i did a search and found out that the si's gears are basically the same as that of the type r teg save for the lsd. is this true and is this a good idea. if not then let me know which tranny is best for my gsr.

yes same gearing w/o LSD. u can go both ways for ur b18c.
b16a tranny will be cheaper tho but u will have better acceleration with it than the GSR tranny.

I would go for the SI tranny.

yeah, definitely go with a 99-00 SI tranny...you'll be amazed at how short the gears are.

Yup, Same gearing just without the LSD.

 

only drawback is you will be reving a bit higher on the freeway.. i have a 93 gsr with the ys1 tranny at 70 in fith gear i'm at 4k
