just installed turbonetics kit on b16 in my eg hatch... problem is car is throwing CEL's and smokes when u hit the gas......

was told could be in need of a missing link so i did, now they say it might be running lean...... could this be?????

what are you using for fuel managment? what boost are you running? what size injectors? what fuel pump ect? what color is the smoke?

 

^^^ you said everything i was about to write. we need more info on your setup and tell us what color the smoke is.

 

Wait so have you hit boost without a wideband on it or checking the timing?
