So I recntly changed the oil in my girlfriends 98 coupe and ever since it seems like when I am driving it kind of boggs down and shakes for a couple seconds and then stops. I checked and the oil level was full and the filter was on tight so I dont think it was something that I did, maybe a coincedence? Also changed the air filter because It was really dirty but didnt seam to help.

 

Sounds like electical...check spark plugs, plug wires and so on. start at the plugs then work your way out to the distributor... you can run with no oil and it wouldn't do that...(wouldn't recommend it but you could ) good luck with it
