woke up this morning and my car wont start!
so i try to start my car it only cranks but doesnt start. i changed the distributer coil, rotor and cap and it still wont start up. i think it might be something with the fuel pump because when i turn the keys to on, rite before ignition i dont hair the hissing sound.. anyone have any ideas of wut it could be? thanks
hey, new here. maybe the battery is dead. do u hear a clicking sound when u try to start ur car up? i just changed my battery 2 days ago after 10 years, and my car cranks much faster now.
hard to say for sure without being there to test anything, but to know for sure, take the fuel line off of the filter where it comes from the pump, and then turn the car to ON for a second, if little to no fuel comes out, then you know the fuel pump is the culprit.
good luck
good luck

Do this, but be safe about it. Put the line into a bottle so if it's not the fuel pump, gas doesn't go everywhere.
