Default Do you have to mess with compression

I was wondering do you have to mess with compression. Im getting ready to turbo my civic and i hear people tell me to go with lower compression forged pistons. Is that true???

Yes, it's recommended (if you want to boost higher), but if you have a D-series in your Civic, I wouldn't worry about it unless you plan to boost it high.

You don't HAVE to, but on the stock block/internals you're limited to the amount of boost you can push through it. Lowering the CR and swapping out for some forged rods/pistons will allow you to run more boost, yes.

You'll need to get a good engine/fuel management setup and have it tuned WELL if you want it to be reliable.
