I just threw code 17 i think thats for the VSS. What do i need to check and how do i fix this? Also the same time i started getting this code my VTEC quit working! I checked the oil levels and they are fine and i am not getting a code for the VTEC so i dont know what to check ontop of that

Check you VSS sensor on top of your tranny to see if there is anything wrong with the sensor. The VSS sensor measures your car's speed. There probably is a problem with it because you are not hitting VTEC. Are you getting a reading on your speedometer? VTEC will not engage untill you reach a certain speed (not only a certain RPM). HTH.
