Default Help! CAI Question?

http://www.lightningmotorsports.com/...ai_install.htm These instruction get confusing, it says "Follow coolant lines 1 and 2 back to where they connect to the engine and throttle body - disconnect" and "Use small diameter coolant hose to connect the ends together", and I cant figure out why you would do this, cause all the lines are already in place, it seems. It seems to me that all I would have to do is take the line from the intake to the valve cover. Can someone give some insight on this?

you have to jump the two ports together, on the intake manifold.. or whatever it's called (i dont really know all the names for the parts, just where they are and what they are) thats what it's saying

you dont have to do all that tho, I have a Short Ram on my 98SH, and i just connected the hose to the valve cover, left everything else there, cuz i followed aem's instructions. haven't had a problem yet.

also, whats the purpose of

"Reconnect solenoid to factory wiring harness, zip tie out of the way."

in one of the final steps? i just left it disconnected since all the butterfly secondary runner stuff was removed..
