why not stay with your gsr head, is it damaged???
your better off with it and you don't have to spend money on a new head

the b16 head is a better flowing head than the gsr. the gsr's compression is only higher by.02. supposedly the ls rods and the gsr rods are different lengths. gsr are longer. there really aint to much different in the p30 and the p72 pistons. i would just order a aftermarket intake manifold for the gsr head. add the ctr cams. ive been building these things for a while. you dont have to take my advice. just trying to help.

i belive your going to need a LS crank if you want to use the Rods too...your compression should shot a good point with a b16 head as well...but it's a pretty good setup one of my friends has that...makes 180 at the wheels.

it should fit with the gsr head, its not like the hed is goign to shorten the combustion chambers, the ls crank and the ls rods will give you a longer stroke, but it wont stroke above the chambers... it would however if you used LS rods and the GSR crank... vice versa would give you a very low compression engine
