Default bleeding the cooling system?

05 EX 5-speed and recently flushed the coolant and replaced it, when accelerating you can hear the coolant going through the heater core. Apparently there is air in there, I followed the instructions in the Helms manual for replacing the coolant and there was no bleed procedure listed, it simply said to run the car until the fan comes on at least twice, and wait for no more bubbles coming from the radiator filler neck. I ran it as stated and the bubbles appeared to stop (it took about 20 minutes for the fans to kick on it's cold here in Jersey)

Any suggestions on how to remedy this issue? Thanks in advance.

just leave the radiator cap off, and keep filled with fluid. Turn heat on high and make sure to press hoses down to get air off once the themostat opens air will come out and when that happens you should be able to fill up the radiator and put the cap on

Tried it again last night and apparently not only have the heat temp on high but the fan on too and no more gurgling noise from the heater core. thanks.
