did i do this right
just installed and bled my radiator
filled the radiator fluid to the top with the cap off, turned on my car squeezed the top radiator hose and saw all the air bubbles escape did this for 5 mins until the car reached normal operating temp. i had to add fluid once or twice but when i was done i had to barely add any at all, but i re-opened the cap and addded so more again, is that ok or do i have to re-do it now?
you might want to open up the air bleed screw valve on the top of the thermostat. Most hondas have them but I could be mistaken.
The thermostat should be the highest location on the engine thus that is where all the air in the cooling system will build up. By opening this valve up you are essentially purging the system. Do this when the engine is hot and open the valve with a 12mm socket really slowly so as not have coolant spray everywhere.
Good luck

The thermostat on Honda's in located where the LOWER radiator hose meets the engine. The engines that do have air bleed valves normally have them on the port where the upper radiator hose meets the engine..
