6 Spd. transmission?
OK im sure someone has already asked this but im gonna ask it again because i couldnt find the answer.....Will a 6spd rsx transmission fit on a b-series motor?, i was talking to a guy at work today and he seems to think that it will?.. any thoughts?..
thanks, JMAN
thanks, JMAN
i dont think that its just going to bolt on, but i guess if you can find a way any tranny will work with any motor, so long as you have the flywheel and the clutch correctly... this is just hypothetical, in real life noone would use a GSR tranny on a mustang or vice versa

Just a thought...
Dont they sell that plate where you can use a B series Tranny with an H22?
Or something along those lines?
So, using a K series 6-speed shouldnt be that far off....
I would be interested in getting something like that.
I feel like i need a 6 gear when im crusing in the highway with my GSR.

Not only does it not bolt up, but if it did, since B-series engines rotate counter-clockwise and K-series rotate clockwise, you would have 6 reverse gears and one forward.
If a six speed is what you want, either do a Kswap or spend $15g's for a Qauiffe sequential gearbox.

DUDE, that would be KICKASS, imagine rolling up to drag in reverse, and smoking him, it would be like a rear wheel drive 6 speed integra... AWESOME, all that weight in the back keeping the wheels down... people would get embarrassed
