RSX Engine tranny combos??
A freind of mines has an 2006 RSX type s with only about 13k miles. The situation is when he bought the car the clutch went out about a two months later. He took advantage of this setback and upgraded to a aftermarket clutch and flywheel. About a month after that the tranny went completely. He took it to Acura and they won't warranty it because of the aftermarket setup and the thing needs a COMPLETE rebuild according to them and a local shop. I told him he should go to the place he bought it from and raise hell.
Anyway the questions is: If we can find an 02-04 tranny for a decent price, what will we have to do to get it to fit the 06 engine?
Thanks in advance

Everything should line up fine, I believe that the only problem would be a certain sensor on the tranny. Can anyone else shed some light on this?

My friend told me that you have change the bell housing and the diff to get it to work. Just doesn't seem worth it, but maybe I'm wrong.

I'm not sure, wait around for some more definite answers.
