Default How long of a test pipe?

I have a 98 teg with a RSR header for a 94 GSR. I know this header on a My teg with a b18b engine is shorter then the stock. there is going to be a gap between the header and cat. still going to use the stock b-pipe for now. Going 2.5 b-pipe in a couple months, so I know I will be bottle necking it for awhile.

I need to know if 17' omni test pipe is long enough to connect my RSR header(2" collector) to the front of the b-pipe?

Deos anyone have any experience on using a shorter header on a nonvtec motor and what test pipe they used. Or did you have to costom make it?

I thought the omni testpipe was adjustable or something?

So this header is the same length as 94-99 gsr's, maybe you could find the cat that fits these cars.

Let me reiterate a little. THe RSR header I have is for a b18c gsr, I have a b18b GS.

By me putting the RSR(header) on a b18b engine the header does not meet up with the cat, it doesn't extend to it, *too short*. I need to know by how much?? I can measure this, but I really don't want to go and take the stocker off and put the RSR on if someone can tell me here. I would appreciated it if someone has some knowledge or experience on this???

Does anyone know how much shorter a GSR HEADER IS THAN A LS HEADER on a B18b integra?????

I need to know if the omni 17 inch test pipe will stretch to fit the b-pipe with the RSR header???

Tell me how long your stock cat is. My cat for b18b's and 00-01 gsr's is 12.5" if I remember correctly with a jdm exhaust.

Let me reiterate, don't be a jackass and accept whatever help you can get.

The difference in header length is ~2".

The difference in cat length is ~2.5".

If you adopt an aggressive tone with me when I'm trying to help, you're getting in return.

There's your answer, have a nice day.

PS the total difference in exhausts is about 4.5" longer for your car when compared to 94-99 gsrs.

So you'd need to add about 4.5" of pipe in your exhaust for it to work.

stock cat + 4.5" = the length you need

You don't need to put it on to find out the difference in length. Improvise. Use a reference point such as the support bracket and measure to the collector.
