OK i have a 92 ls 140000 miles just changed the timing belt. The motor runs really strong im trying to decide where to start in the modification area. I was thinking maybe just a limit of 1000 bucks to start maybe cams and a intake but im not sure

30 to 40hp is A LOT for a honda. Do your typical bolt ons first, intake/header/exhaust...then if you feel your car is worth dumping more money into, start looking into other bigger and better options. Turbo, Cams, Head Work, NOS yo!

Just put in a quality nitrous kit and take the precautions for detonation. That way you'll ahve the power on tap when you need it (as long as you have nitrous in teh bottle) and you won't sacrifice fuel economy, etc etc.

You could upgrade your cams without do anything else, but you won't maximize your gains. A good intake, header and exhaust and tuning is needed to help get the most out of your cams.
