No gasket/s needed replacement.
Did mine but didn't drain the trans fluid.
Good luck with that NUT!

soak the nut with pb blaster, and then use a breaker bar and a huge *** pipe and go to town. Just replace the tranny fluid. And it should take no more than a day.
actually the hardest part imo is pulling the axle from the the hub if its rusted. pray it isnt so and good luck. it takes less than an hour if all goes smoothly.
did both sides on my accord in 45 minutes the other day....it is cake just look at it and think about what you are doing.....don't brake your brake lines

Actually yes you really should spring for a new axle seal since you'll be in there anyway. It's only about $5 and it just may save you the trouble of doing it all over again later.
Can't remember if the axle nut is 28 or 32mm but it's a big socket that you may not have handy already.

32mm. Most places sell them for $13, but Harbor Freight sells an impact socket set that includes a 32mm for $16 (if you want some extra deep sockets).
Make sure you break the nut while the car is in the ground. Replace the original nut with an OEM one. You might want a chisle or something to create a new notch in the new nut after you tighten it.
The axle can be difficult to get out of the hub. You might have to rent a slide hammer from AAP or Autozone.
