Here's a link. If you have questions just ask. Someone will be able to help. It would be nice to have a service manual too. Honda factory manual is best (Helminc.com) but the cheap ones at Autozone, Advance will do just fine for this job.

Ahem, I'd think by now they'd give you your avatar privileges back again.....
I suspect it would be ill advised to invite me over to Hondahookup.com. The last such invite caused the unnamed forum to be assimilated.
Resistance is Futile (I guess)

I just might DH. Just got to roll with the punches P? My 03 got rearended the day before the Superbowl. Almost a month now, and nothing from the "idiot girl talking on a cell phone"'s insurance company. All I get is voice mail, and I need pictures, I need estimates, and a lot more voicemail. I hate to complain, but life is a bitch. $4,000 worth of damage. She shoved her Galant under my trunk. The only good thing about it is, HER CAR IS TOTALED!! Noone was hurt.

If she's at fault, and the Police report supports that contention; start the claim yourself. The Police Report should show her insurance company info, as well as her policy number.
Call her insurance Company and tell them you're fileing a claim against her policy since you were rear-ended by their policy holder.
I had to do it that way when my wife's Accord was rear-ended. They never did talk to their customer....

We have talked to her (on the phone) a bunch of times. Then for three days we will get nothing but the voicemail. We are going to see if our insurance company can help out. If not we will probably have to claim it on our uninsured motorist. And that probably means paying a deductable. It all sucks. It makes me sick everytime I look at it (the car).

If you've got comprehensive insurance (Fire,Theft & Collision) You can have your insurance company repair it and they will turn aroung and recover the repair costs from her Insurance carrier.
I didn't have Comprehensive, so my Insurance Carrier couldn't get involved. I did the footwork and got compensation for the car; and I was up against
*Driver with a suspended license
*Insurance info was that of a canceled policy
*Idiot lived with Mother and moved every three months.
*Idiot had a pay-as-you-go cell phone and used a call forwarding service.

If I could do it, you can

BLKFLSH, sorry to hear about you accident and the problems your having. It sucks, I know. I was rear-ended a year ago and the person took off before I even looked back. I had to pay the deductible on my insurance since the person that was responsible couldn't be found.

Anyway, could this be taken to PM's instead of hijacking this thread any further?
