have you tried http://www.helminc.com as far as cheap, they are what they are. if you get it from your local honda deal (which gets it from helms directly) you will be paying more. so, cut out the middle man

http://www.helminc.com is the only place that I am aware of, unless you find one for sale on eBay or in the classifieds.

I assume that these Helms manuals are like really in-depth guides to Hondas and stuff? Are they better than the Haynes Repair Manual as far as information goes?

Helms is about about 5 times as thick as haynes, and about 100 times more in depth. ANYTHING you could ever think of fixing in your car, down to every nut and bolt, is covered in the helms.

Once you look at a Helms or even use one you won't go back to a Haynes. I looked at Haynes books in the library and didn't like them at all. I bought a Helms for my Accord and quickly realized it worth it. Now I need to buy one for my Civic.

I just got my 96-00 Civic Helms manual last week, I think it was $80 shipped to my door. And even after spending a few hours browing through it, looks to be WELL worth every penny, and I havent even used it yet
