I am shipping a H22A4 non sh block complete with ALL internal. This is JUST the block. How much does it weigh and what apprx are it's dimensions. Please help. Thanks

i'd guess it is 50 lbs. Once its all crated up i would guess 70-80 lbs.

 

Stick it on a bathroom scale to get the weight and pull out a tape measure to get the dimensions

 

If it's just the block it's around 150lbs. If it's complete with the head, it adds 70lbs. I think.

 

a bare head weighs more then 70 lbs. I received a box when i bought my 2nd head, i believe it said 93 lbs. The person who shippied it to me sucks *** at shipping FYI.

a bare block with no internals of any kind, my guess would weigh in a little more.

 

i must be a brute or something because the tranny weighs 83 lbs and the block is WAY lighter than the tranny.

A bare block, but he's shipping a complete block. I shipped a near complete block recently (minus the water pump, & a couple other small items) & it was 156lbs. packaged. The packaging probably accounted for 10-15lbs.

 

How much does the entire engine weigh? My bad that I'm kinda off topic.

yea i shipped a h22 trans and when it was all packaged up iot weight 93lbs.

 

A bare block does not weigh very much. Definitely less than 50lbs. I can carry it around with one hand.

The bare block with nothing attached is around 40 lbs I guestimate. I had mine out yesterday to take pics and was moving it around. The crank is about 25-30 lbs, I use mine when I work out. Rods and pistons are around 8-12 lbs.

You're welcome you ungrateful sob. If you sift through our replies you got the info you needed, it was argueably (non technical question, just asking for quantitive data) a post whoring topic anyways, so thats what happened.

only block and internals, 130lbs..
