What's the difference? I'm guess it's not about length!!

short block 1.6 or 1.7 height of the cylinder wall
long block 1.8.

the 1.6 and 1.7 line up to the tranny
meanwhile the
1.8 has a little more over the tranny.

A short block is just the block assembly. A long block is the block assembly + a complete head.

it's kinda lost in the noise but u guys are all big reds, right? his answer was total blither and deserves it but i think a2snakes was just trying to learn.
