First off I'd like to say I have looked at the sticky up top and have searched and read ALL 4 pages of results. I am still asking because everything has contradicting information and nothing said makes sense or seems to be factual. Electrical is not my area of expertise so I can't pick out what is fact and what is someones crap, so i need some help.
Does anyone have a link of a how to: install a fuel pump kill switch? that they have used or know that works without any harmful effects.
What is the skill level required for this? How much more is needed then getting to the pump and the wires, stripping, splicing and connecting them, and putting everything back?
Please don't respond with a link to how to install a kill switch that has 3+ pages of people bickering back and forth. I have read all of them and they are no help.
Thanks

Skill level = not color blind.
It is very easy on a Honda/Acura to do fuel pump "kill switch", all you need is a 1A SPST, [on/off] switch, install it on the "PGM-FI Main Relay, [fuel pump relays] control wire from the "Powertrain Control module" green/yellow on a 96-98Civic, green/blue on a 94-98 Integra, green/black on a 90-93 Integra, and 91-95 Legend, sorry the are the only ones I the colors for, this is a low current ground control lead. requiring only a low amperage switch, they being small ones, so easier to hide.
