Default Fuel pump kill switch....

I installed a fuel pump kill switch, and it works, but i want to hook in an LED so i will know if the pumps on or not. I dont know what the best way to wire it in though, if the LED shorts or something stupid i dont want it to cut fuel pump power so how can i wire it in?

The fact that your car is running is not a good enough indicator that the pump is on???

It's not that hard, install a 1A-2A switch on the PGM-FI Main Relays ground lead, [black], it is low current, you can add the ground of a 12V LED to the relay side of switch and connect the LEDs pos.(+) to a 12V+ ign. source, the 2nd ign. free pin on the under dash fuse box would work, a diode may also have to be installed on the line going to the PGM-FI Main Relay, to isolate the LED from the relay
If the above is done properly the LED will be on if the "kill"switch and ign. is on and off when the "kill" switch is off, and when off, fuel pump relay can not turn on, or can the injectors power relay, engine will not even fire and run for a few sec. 94
