Tunning need help
Hey guys and gals i have a question.. My car was tuned in texas and dynoed @ 200whp at sea level and runs really good when im down in texas/new mexico but it dont run the same out here they tuned it with a vafc kicking in at 6k and what im wondering is what can i do to make it run a little better here in Arizona besides taking it to get tuned here will anything mess up if i set all settings to zero ...... if anyone can help me out please thanks

well thats true but just recently had a baby and in the process to get a house money is a little tight right now so i was thinking a different way around it for now
Well if that is the case, then honestly just put the R on the side for now. Wait until you can afford a good tuning. Why risk a poor/improper tune and potentially a motor? Put the R on the side until you can afford for it to be tuned correctly.

WHat about it is running different. I would be surprised that there was that much change to cause it to run poorly or unsafely. Might be a few thenths slower but shouldn't cause damage. If that's the case I'd be asking the tuner about the sttings.

That's what i was thinking. In the next few months with the brutal arizona heat approaching i'd go for another tune. I'd also ditch that DC 4-2-1 header for a 2.5" header..

Park it until you can afford a new tune... simple as that. I agree with mythias, its not worth a motor, you'll be very sorry if you drive it or do something wrong tuning it yourself and have something go wrong. Good luck man
