Those w/ LS (B18b) Engines, what do you dyno at?
I went to the dyno with a friend last night. He has a 95 LS engine in his civic. The engine has AEM intake, DC 4-1 Header, Greddy Exh, AEM Pulleys, SAFC, and Skunk II cam gears.
He baselined at 117hp and 105tq with no tuning of the SAFC and cam gears. After leaning out the SAFC he reached 140hp and 115 tq. After setting the cam gears he got 145hp and 120tq. I was shocked that he gained 27hp from a little tuning. Is this normal for the LS engine. His engine now puts down more hp and torqe than a lot of bolt on b16's and is right up there with GSR engines. What is a typical I/H/E dyno for a B18b?

My bone stock ls dyno'd at 123hp and 109 torque. Honda seems to run their cars on the rich side and the dyno guy said I could get probably another 5 hp by leaning out a little bit.
I think your friend was dynoing a little on the short side in the first place.

The tuner leaned it out between 4 and 5% all the way through the rpm band. He was using a O2 sensor to see what rpms the LS was running lean and rich at. I'm not sure of the exact numbers because it wasn't my car.
122HP and 111TQ with a significant drop off after 5400 RPM's on my otherwise stock LS.
Oh ya, that was at about 90K miles too!
