Default 93 Civic LX w/ B18b motor Dyno

I went with my friend to get his 95 LS motor Tuned in his Civic. He has:
AEM Intake, Greddy Exh, DC 4-1 Hdr., AEM pulleys, S-AFC, and Skunk II cam gears.

Baseline without tuning the Cam gears or SAFC he got 117hp and 105tq to the wheels. The tech leaned him out using the SAFC and on the next run he got 140hp and 115tq to the wheels. After setting the cam gears he was able to get 145hp and 120tq.

My question is: Is his engine just really strong or is this average for an LS motor? I was shocked at the 27hp gain. His dyno is close to GSR power with basic bolt ons.

I dont think that is abnormal. Sounds like a good baseline dyno. My old gsr baselined at 160hp, 126tq to the wheels with basics as well. No power steering and no a/c. I had I/E/H/ venom fuel pump. 145 is a descent number for that motor though. I would be happy with that for that motor...
