Little OT: Took my car in for service and got a TL Type-S Loaner
Wow this is a big car. I was hauling down I95 to get to work and this thing is no where near as nible as the R or anything I am used to driving. Other then that, this thing is nice. I could see buying one if I ever wanted a 4 door or something larger. The torque on the motor is nice and its really got some pep to it when you get on it. The sequential shifter is ghey and I only played with it for about 2 miles. As for the ride, its as smooth as a shaved twate. I was doing about 110 down I75 and did not even know it cause the thing is so quite.
I dunno about it beating a stock R, it just did not seem to realy be that fast out of the hole. But once its up and going, one touch of the gas and it's gone.
I think I'll keep the R

I'm sorry dude, but it seems like everyday I see a new thread from you with the words car & service in the title
Soon my friend..... soon it will be back in my controll for ever. I think this is the last time I'm ever taking it in for service.

Never heard of that word before...
It's a nice car for the money no doubt... but if money is no object, 330 sedans is a lot better in every single criteria (sans price).
WOW that beats me. they gave me an Rsx-S , only to get a phone call 800 that night saying they mistakenly gave me someone newly purchased car!!

Or standard equipment (HID lights, leather, sunroof - all of which are optional on the 330i).
Or power (260 for the TL Type S, 225 for the 330i).

Makes it quite the no-brainer...
