Default Turbo Muffler?

Hey everyone,

I'm looking to get a muffler to finish off my 3" exhaust. What are people running on here with a 3" inlet? So far I'm leaning towards an HKS, DCsport or Magnaflow muffler, but I'm not sure which to get. Does anyone have any recommendations or feedback about this? Please let me know.

Thanks!

P.S. this will be going on a 4th gen, so looks, sound and of course flow is very important.

Megan Racing makes some good ones and they're a lot cheaper than anywhere else!

How do they sound tho? I'm looking for a deeper sound, not the 'pissed off bumble bee' ricer wanna-be crap.

this is becoming annoying....a muffler muffles your sound....ie makes it quieter.

a resonator is what changes the tone....find yourself a good resonator

the Megan racing is a copy of the Apexi N1. Yes it sounds good. Also, if you're boosted and running a 3" exhaust, your car isnt gonna sound like a pissed off bumble bee, turbo exhaust always souds good!

I have the HKS Hi-Power muffer, 3" catco cat, and 3" VRS stainless exhaust with no resonator. It has a really nice deep tone.

if it bothers you so much to help him out, why do you even bother posting, just skip past it, 1 more post wont hurt you. I dont understand why everyone gets upset when a topic has been covered already? if you want to think like that then the Honda-tech as a whole should be locked, since pretty much everything has been covered

People should search, sure. But we'd only be really good if we helped and/or searched ourselves and revealed threads so the user got an idea of what could be found on his own.
