Default spare Block cracked question

hey guys i pulled an engine out of a parts car i bought a few months ago and am planning on building another f22 on the side w/ some goodies. after i tore down the block i noticed that the block was cracked on the drivers side where the car had been in a wreck,

i was curious what your input on the block is as to whether i should just have it rewelded or just buy another bare block. other than that little crack its in pretty good shape.

looks to me like it can just be tig welded and decked at the top. i inspected it and didn't notice anymore cracks other than the obvious big one. It looks like its a good distance from the water jackets.

here's some pics and lemme know what you think.

you can have it welded but I would get another block and sell that one as scrap.

He's been told, just doesn't like that answer...
What can you do, when they know everything?

Lord knows there are probably more cracks there that can't be seen

im probably just gonna buy a whole f22a long block since i plan on using an f22aX head on my engine build anyways. that block might make a good boat anchor tho.

it just pisses me off all the trouble i went to buying a parts car and pulling the motor out just to find the block is cracked
