bad/clogged injector perhaps? try switching the injector from cyl 1 & 2 and see if the problem stays w/ cylinder 1 or moves to 2.

bad plug ? bad plug wire ? injector not firing ( no power to injector ) # 1 cylinder valves too tight ?

did you try swapping plugs with a different cylinder ?? if so and no change

try a different plug wire , if no change

stick a screrwdriver on injector and make sure you hear it click while car is running ,, if ok

you said compression was all even ,,,
I would then next chk the valve lash

did a tune up replaced all of those same thing?
is there some thing that could be wrong with the wiring harness?

not much wiring that could make 1 cylinder misfire.....

you got plug wire

you got injector wiring

did you try all the things that were adviced to you???
You cannot skip 1 ... try them all , do the eliminating process,
