Default Question With My Ignition Timing

hey, i have a '91 hf with a d15b7 in it running obd0 of a pm6. i never set my ignition timing when i put the motor in so i finally decided to do it. i repainted my marks on the crank, got the motor all the way up to running temp, loosened the dizzy, shot the timing light at it and set the timing right on the base timing mark, everything went fine, motor seems to be running smoother but it was'nt until tonite i reallized that i never Jumped my ECU!!! is this a problem, should i leave it alone or what do i do now, do i have to jump the jumper and reset it? thanx

double check your timing now...if it hasn't moved...forget about it! If it changed at all, jump the ecu and redo.

Everyone says you NEED to jump it....I don't jump mine when I set it.
