Default build up for boost.

just like the title, thats wut im thinkin of doing. i have a stock d15b2 with a d16a6 head. aside form ordering a new gasket kit, wut else should be done to ensure my engine life? i realize any type of forced induction will beat on my engine, but i want to try to keep her alive for as long as possible. if im going to invest money into my car like this i want it done right, no short cuts. im not even thinkin about the turbo kit cuz im far from it. plz let me know wut i should do to prepare my engine, i doubt i'll exceed 15 psi.

im sure you heard of this little web site called homemadeturbo.com that should answer all your questions.

As far as your engine life. It all depends. how much boost you run and how well a enginemanagement system you have.

you have a couple of options.

Turbo Edit for OBD0
Uberdata OBD1 if you choose to gp that route
Chrome ( again OBD1) but cost like 100-200 i beleive.

and then you have your big baller names like AEM and what not.

Get it tuned and you shoule have not to worry for a good while.

Good luck!

JUlio
