Default clicking noise everytime i turn

when my 95 civic ex stock worked, it was make clicking noises everytime i turned my wheel. But this only happened when i was driving, it didnt happen when my car sat idle. Then i realized that when it was in 2nd gear it didnt make that noise when i turned... so i drove at a moderate speed in 2nd to feel it out. right then my engine stopped working. there was no clicking noise, nothing. Now it wont start up at all... i was wondering if these two problems were connected or what they were... any help is appreciated.

I seriously doubt those are related issues, sounds like the clicking noise could be your axles... check to see if your axle boots are leaking any grease, good sign thats the noise your hearing when turning.

Same exact thing happend to me... other than my motor stoped working, but its the CV axle..... and not to but in on your post, but mine has been clicking for about 5 months(cant come up with the money to buy a new one, due to car payments, cuz im only 17), so do you think id still be safe to just put the boot on, or you think the whole joint needs replaced?

since it clicks now.. and if you replace the cv boot it will still make the clicking noise so it would be kinda pointless. buy a new axle and replace it. go to autozone or where ever you can get it for cheap.

Get a new axle. Check the other side also, if one boot tore chances are the other one will probably tear soon. Might be easier to replace both.

Its a common belief that if your CV boots are not torn and grease is not leaking that you CVs are fine. There is still a good chance they are bad. On my 95 DX they werent torn and the axles were shot. The clicking is the joint binding.

The clicking noise was actually the axles. Its now fixed though.... Also the engine trouble was due to the timing belt. Also now fixed... but after i thought i was in the clear... one if my cylinders is jacked..... noticed a shitty click at idle. So im just going to sell it so i can pay off people and get new parts for an accord i just got.... but thnaks for all the help!!!!!
