Headlight/Tail-lights problems
I searched as much as I could finding no answers to my problem. My headlights do not work. But I found that if I squeezed or moved around this amber colored looking plug (in the center of the picture), then the lights would work. This however, does not do the trick anymore. The tail lights also do not work, but if I press the brakes, the brake lights come on. Hazards are working fine.
So I figured it might be a loose connection in the plug, so I cut the plastic covering off and inspected the wires/pins. Everything looked fine. All of the fuses are good. I am just puzzled and frustrated at this point. Any helpful info would be greatly appreciated.

go to your headlights and test if they are getting 12v. (test voltage between + lead and body ground.) if that tests ok then that means there are no brakes in the wire for the + side.
next test ground. get a jumper wire and wire the - side to the chassis. If the headlights work then trace the oem - wire for brakes.
you may have to do this for 1 or more of the headlights.
