Heres mine:

i cant tell u how much it costs...cause it came with the car from japan, but installation wise, takes about an hour, in those pics, it wasnt fully tighten to the car either.
i think http://www.ioportracing.com might help u out and i believe they are located in Cali too.

Do you know if that cage is SCCA/NASA legal?
I like the design of the autopower with the removable harness and cross bar, but DOM construction makes it heavy.
Is there another rollbar similar to the autopower that is certified and lightweight?

im not sure if my cage is legal with SCCA/NASA, but tech. specialists for the ITR expo said it was fine for running it there, and all i need is to add some padding over it.
It does have labels of approval, but they are all in japanese, which doesnt help much over here.

If you want a bolt in rollbar then Kirk and or Autopower.
I have an Autopower, ask me whatever you like, I can send you pics if you desire. User SN ithrowpoop (Brian) has a Kirk and can answer your questions about them as well as provide you with pics and install info.
But I wouldn't suggest a bolt in roll cage, they don't provide the protection or advantages and options that a weld in cage offer. They may be cheaper but aren't safer, and that's the point of a cage really.
FYI, a cage and a rollbar are two different things.

I totally agree, if this is going to be a street car, with little track time go with a bolt in cage. Otherwise I would suggest a custom weld in cage. At what price is your life worth. I spent a bunch of money on my cage, but I don't have a single doubt if anything should ever happen.

Ya know I dunno how much I'd want/promote a DD car with a rollbar or cage. For one they're not neccessary, and secondly they can actually be more dangerous since you're not wearing a helmet or strapped in place all the time. Unless you are committed to wearing a helmet every time you drive or strap yourself in tightly every time as well. Then comes up the issues of seat, harnesses, keep or remove stock belts, etc the list goes on and the debate usually ends up a personal risk you decide to take.
Fact is that road cars were designed they way the were to protect the occupants as much as possible in all types of accidents. Of course some cars score higher than others, but in general a standard current day roadgoing car is designed to absorb impact (crumple zones), provide soft interior surfaces with as much protection in the cabin and occupants as possible IE airbags, etc. Once you go messing with a safety system you best be sure what the ramifications of said messing are and or what is an acceptable level of safety to you and your passengers. More importantly, the Passengers.
A rollbar only protects against rollovers and or provides you with an easy place to mount harnesses. But beyond that, unless you're intending on putting yourself in the position of a rollover more often than not, it's not neccessary.
It's just too much of a grey area when it comes to actual safety for daily use. I mean if you had a rollbar, and proper seat and 5pt harnesses and were always strapped in properly and wore a helmet then yeah I guess it'd work out on the road. Don't get me wrong there are plenty of guys that DD with at least a rollbar, but they could be running higher risks of personal injury with a rollbar/cage when daily driving withough proper belts, seat, positioning, securing said belts, etc. It's also more of a hassle than it's worth to me. And I don't daily drive my car.
Just food for thought.

Search for posts by user Big Phat R. I love his set-up. In fact, I copied him
. 6 point OMP bolt-in. Harness bar and extra x-bar welded in after the fact. Not sure if his pics include those pieces.
