For the short quick easy answer.... save your money. If you want me to go on I can but trust me vtec controllers are pretty much worthless on stock engines.

..Holy hell. Please is someone going to bring up the "Search" button. "Vtech" controllers will do you no good on a stock motor.

And you want i-VTEC to hit at 4000rpm...

bingo, research my friends, the ep3 i-vtec is an economy system and there for kicks in at 2200rpm's to consume fuel, the rsx is 5800rpm's i belive but in any rate you must be an idiot to even think to take an rsx to 4000 engagment... Do research also before you post and read google is your friend. I will also tell you that a vtec controller is useless on a k series, why that is for you to look up, im not giving you all the answers for free because u have to do research to learn

Exactly what other people said. Unlike dohc vtec or the k20a2's dohc-ivtec, there isnt a exact crossover #, the new ones slowly change vtec engagement. as said b4, the k20a3 starts LOWWW becuase its not like the other dohc vtec systems.

Also, just cause u CAN set vtec lower, doesnt mean you should. Setting a ITR at 3000 RPM for Vtec doesnt mean ull start to scream at 3000, ull actually go slower cause the engine isnt meant for it to go that low.

get K-pro and tune it correctly, Vtec should only be set at what it is needed, not what you think would be cool.
