Default integra muffler on EK hatch? Please help

Im a NuuuB ....hey guys i have a integra muffler on my ek and whenever i make aright turn it seems that the muffler is hitting something. Does the integra muffler fit an ek or do i need a civic si muffler. It seems that the muffler is really close to the crossmember like about 1 inch away. Anything i can do thanks please help.

If you want a quick fix.....Take a piece of rubber or an old radiator hose and cut it to fit where the exhaust is touching......Zip tie it or use metal wire(even like MIG wire could work) and tie it up....My friend did it on his GSR with a spoon exhaust meant for an EK and it worked......Good luck

Your pipe may also be hitting the hanger that is back there...the bend for an Integra is not sharpe enough for the EK hatch.

yea i was looking at it and it seems the top left corner of muffler is hitting the corssmenber and the front bottom is hitting the peice of metal that looks like a dust shield for the rear breaks. So should i move the muffler back alittle ?

i have an itr muffler and piping on my ek. All i did was cut off the hanger and weld it to the back of the muffler. I also had to cut the tip because it sticks out alot on an ek...

hi, i have a gsr muffler on my ek hatch. The piping for the axle-back portion had to be cut and rewelded. The tip part had to be shortened. It is a very tight fit, the muffler cannot be perfectly centered, as the spare tire well gets in the way. It is maybe 5 degrees offset to the passenger side. I would recommend another muffler, even though it sounds really quiet.
