Why isn't my VTEC kicking in any more?
I noticed last night that my VTEC isn't kicking in and my secondary butterflys are kicking in at 5000rpm instead of 4400rpm.
I have already checked the wires and they are connected. I also reset the computer and still nothing. Why!!!

same here. My brother B16 works for a few mins then it doesn't. I then shut the car off and when I restart it and take off it's back again. Weird!

Check the oil level. Is it full. VTEC is weird like that if the car is slightly low on oil it will not kick in.

i have the same problem too.....vtec doesnt work in first for some reason.....but it kicks in during 2nd........oh well......i sold the car today
